What is a kayak and paddle board delivery?

While you can access beautiful Bass River right from our shop, if you're staying somewhere near water, you can also have equipment delivered to you!

How? Give us a call at 508-362-555 and we'll schedule your delivery.

What can I get? We can deliver kayak(s), paddle board(s), paddles, life jackets, and associated accessories (like kayak wheels, locks and cables, and car pads and straps if necessary).

Requirements? Someone 18 years or older needs to book and sign a 'waiver' for the equipment. We deliver for two days or more. *You can pick up equipment for a minimum of 1.5 hours, but we just deliver for two days or more. A credit card will need to be put on file for potential incidentals. Payment is taken ahead of time or at the time of delivery by credit card, cash, or check.

Can I extend? Yes! You can call us to extend your rental as long as we are not unusually 'sold out'.

Can I end my rental shorter than what I booked? Yes, but we can't do refunds.

Do you sell out? We have a lot of equipment but to ensure you get what you want and when you want it, it's best to book ahead of time.

When are the deliveries? Drop-offs in the mornings (before 9:30 a.m. must be booked at least the night before. Bookings with a drop-off after 4 p.m. can be booked day-of but before 5 p.m. We're a small business and want to accommodate everyone, so planning helps ensure great customer service from us for yourself and that you're in our schedule of deliveries and pick-ups. It's best to aim to book at least 72 hours in advance, but feel free to call us by the times listed above.

Do I have to be there for the delivery? Unless there's a special circumstance (like visiting our store in-person to discuss the to-be-delivered rental), we require one person 18 and older to be there when we deliver with a valid ID.

Where can I use the equipment? Cape Cod has many lakes, ponds, rivers, bays, inlets, and sounds. We'll provide you with the best equipment for your location and group. Many people who rent a house, condo, hotel room, apartment, or unit on Cape Cod and who typically rent from us are staying in the Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Chatham, and Brewster areas. We are happy to discuss your location and needs here on Cape Cod!

Can I drag the equipment? Unfortunately, dragging does a lot of damage to the equipment, even on the sand, so all of our equipment must be carried. Carrying handles are attached and you could include 'wheels' in your rental order to wheel the equipment if you think you need them. We purposely pick a great selection of equipment that is durable and not 'the heaviest on the market' to make carrying easier. The equipment is 'high-quality' and we want to keep it that way, please, for everyone to enjoy.

Can I pick up the equipment myself? Yes! You can pick-up equipment and drop it off during our operating hours for any length of time starting a one and a half hours. Someone must be 18 years or older with a valid ID and credit card and you can pay by credit card, cash, or check.
